Tallahassee, FL : A fatal crash that occurred on Interstate 95 near Viera on Tuesday, December, 19th 2017

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Interstate 95 near Viera early Tuesday.

Traffic reports state that Luis Del Valle, a 42-year-old Orlando man, drifted off the road for unknown reasons just after 2 a.m.

Del Valle then struck a sign, causing his vehicle to flip and catch fire, according to FHP reports.

He was then taken to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
