Gadsden, AL : Horton man dies in a two-vehicle crash on Alabama Highway 168 on Monday night, January 23, 2017

A 23-year-old man was killed and another was injured Monday night in a two-vehicle crash on Alabama Highway 168, according to Alabama State Troopers.

Michael Corey Pagliaro, 23, of Horton was killed when the 1985 Chevrolet pickup he was driving collided head-on with a 2011 Chevrolet van driven by Adam Stephens, 38, of Albertville.
Pagliaro, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Stephens, who also was not using a seat belt, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The crash occurred at 6:15 p.m. at the 3-mile marker on Alabama Highway 168, 3 miles east of Douglas. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
