LIVINGSTON, LA : 1 killed, 2 hurt in Livingston Parish car crash on Sunday, 9th June 2024

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating after one person was killed and two others were injured in a Sunday afternoon crash.

According to the sheriff’s office, the crash happened around 2 p.m. Sunday, June 9 near S. Satsuma Road and Zack Wheat Lane. Two of the people injured were airlifted but are expected to survive.

Deputies said all occupants were taken out before a car fire started.

The sheriff’s office has not released the identity of the adult killed.

An investigation is ongoing.
