West Memphis, AR : Woman killed, 3 injured in Crittenden Co. crash on Thursday, October 20, 2016
A woman was killed and three others were injured in a crash in Crittenden County.
According to an Arkansas State Police preliminary crash report, the collision happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Arkansas Highway 50 and Arkansas Highway 218.
The report states a Ford Transit Connect van was traveling south on Highway 50 toward the intersection of Highway 218, while a Nissan Altima was traveling east on Highway 218 toward the intersection.
According to the report, the van failed to stop at the stop sign and hit the car.
The driver of the van, Twyla J. Neal, 52, of Marion, died in the crash.
Three men in the car were injured.
Brett Bumgarner, 20, of Colt, Nathan Spain, 19, of Palestine, and Luther Wade, 24, of Palestine were taken to Regional One in Memphis to be treated.
