Four people are dead as the result of a wrong-way, head-on crash on US 52 in Winston-Salem, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.
At around 3:04 a.m. on Sunday, officers got a report of a wrong-way driver traveling northbound on US 52 South.
Police say that the vehicle was driving in the wrong direction on US 52 southbound and crashed head-on with another vehicle near the 3rd Street bridge.
