LAS VEGAS, NV : Driver dead, 17-year-old passenger injured after northeast valley crash on Saturday, 28th October 2023

An overnight crash in the northeast Las Vegas valley left one driver dead and their passenger substantially injured.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) responded to a single-car crash on North Hollywood Boulevard and East Solaron Avenue around 4:33 a.m. on Saturday.

According to surveillance, a 2012 Lexus IS250 was traveling at a high rate of speed on North Hollywood when it drifted right and struck the curb on Solaron.

The Lexus then rotated, and the driver's side of the vehicle hit a perimeter cinder block wall of a private residence.
