Grand Island, NE : 10 people injured in a Two-car crash on Saturday, August 27, 2016
A two-car crash left 10 people injured, including five children, on Saturday around 6:30 p.m., according to the Grand Island Police Department.
Officer Phouk Manivong said a GMC Denali was southbound on Lincoln Street and failed to stop. A Dodge Charger was driving westbound on 10th Street and collided with the Denali. Manivong said the Denali SUV flipped on its side.
The Denali was carrying two adults and five children. The Charger had three minors, around the age of 18, Manivong said.
The driver of the Denali is cited for failure to yield. All 10 people involved were transported to CHI Health St. Francis with minor injuries.
