LAPEER, MI : Crash in front of Lapeer McDonalds leaves woman injured on Wednesday, 25th October 2023

A woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries after she crashed with a semi-truck in front of a McDonald's restaurant in Lapeer on Wednesday morning.

The crash was reported in the 400 block of South Main Street around 7:30 a.m. involving a semi-truck and the woman's sedan, which rolled onto its side. The Lapeer Fire and Rescue Department says the woman was trapped inside.

Lapeer Fire Chief Mike Vogt said the woman, who authorities did not identify, was not wearing a seat belt when the crash happened.
