YORK, NE Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Friday, July 28, 2017
Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that happened over the lunch hour at the York interchange area on Friday.
At approximately 12:20 p.m., York Fire and Rescue and the York Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of South Lincoln Avenue and David Drive.
A SUV and a four-door car collided in the intersection.
It did not appear anyone was injured in the SUV.
The car, however, remained in the intersection with heavy damage to the driver’s side.
Firefighters had to cut and pry open the side of the car in order to extricate the driver.It was not clear how many passengers were in the car.
The names of the people involved were not immediately available, nor was the extent of the injury to the driver of the car.
Two people were transported to York General Hospital by ambulance.
