Tulsa, OK : Two adults, one child in critical condition after Mayes County crash on Saturday, 13th August, 2016
Three people were hospitalized in critical condition after a car crash Saturday afternoon in Mayes County.
The crash occurred on Oklahoma 82 about one mile west of Spavinaw when the driver of a southbound 2015 Chrysler 300 crossed over the center line and collided with a northbound 2014 Nissan Sentra in the adjacent lane, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol news release.
The Sentra then veered about five feet off of the roadway before coming to a stop, with the driver pinned in the vehicle. The driver was freed by Spavinaw firefighters, but it is unknown how long he was trapped, according to the release.
The driver of the Sentra, 32-year-old David McFadden, was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa in critical condition with trunk internal injuries, according to the release.
Two passengers in the Sentra, 26-year-old Mary McFadden and a 12-year-old boy, were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The other two passengers, a 4-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, were admitted in stable condition, according to the release.
The driver of the Chrysler, James Thompson, 69, was taken to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa in stable condition with arm and trunk external injuries, the release states.
