JACKSON COUNTY, FL : Three people died after a vehicle wreck in Jackson County on Saturday, 6th July 2019

Three people died after a two-vehicle wreck Saturday in Jackson County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Misael Gonzalez, 30, of Marianna; Dennis Hancock, 26, of Campbellton; and Victoria Blighton, 26, of Marianna died in the collision. Gonzalez was driving south on Florida 71 while Hancock was driving north with Blighton as a passenger.

“As the two vehicles approached each other, (Gonzalez) began to drift to the left into (Hancock’s) lane,” a FHP release stated. “Hancock took evasive action to the left. The front of (Gonzalez’s vehicle) collided with the front of (Hancock’s vehicle).”

The crash happened at 11:18 p.m.
