STURGEON, MO : Shelbina teen injured in Boone County crash on Monday, 20th January, 2020

A Shelbina teen was injured in a Monday afternoon crash in Boone County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 2011 Chevrolet Impala driven by Elisabeth A. Fugeat, 17, of Shelbina, was traveling south on U.S. 63 at Mo. 22 at 12:40 p.m. The patrol said the vehicle drove off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail.

Two passengers, a 13-year-old girl from Shelbina and a 16-year-old girl from Macon, were taken by Boone County Ambulance to Women and Children's Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver and both passengers were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.

The patrol was assisted by the Boone County Fire Department.
