PROVO, UT : 1 dead in Provo car crash on Tuesday, 16th March 2021
One person is dead after their car was hit while pulling out of a restaurant parking lot near 400 North and 900 East in Provo on Tuesday, officials said.
According to Provo Police Sgt. Nisha King, around 4 p.m. a car was pulling out of a Taco Bell parking lot when another vehicle hit it. The car was T-boned by the other vehicle, killing the driver.
King said that the driver who was killed was attending school in Provo and was around 23 years old.
The crash is being investigated, but officials say it's too early to determine if speed or alcohol was a factor.
