MILTON, NY : Pedestrian in Saratoga County crash at Albany Med in critical condition on Sunday, December, 3rd 2017

The pedestrian in a Route 67 crash on Sunday evening has been identified as Benedict Dejesus, a 37-year-old from Wilmington, Del., Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said.
Dejesus was hit by a 2008 Lincoln sedan driven by Carl J. Thurnau at 5:54 p.m. as Dejesus was walking in the driving lane on the state route near Wood Road.
Dejesus was airlifted to Albany Medical Center. He is in critical condition.
Thurnau of Burnt Hills was heading east when the crash occurred. He remained on the scene until emergency personnel arrived. There was no evidence of impairment or unsafe operation on the part of the driver. No charges have been filed.
