Garden City, KS : Garden City woman injured in Norton County auto accident on Sunday, March 26th 2017

A Garden City woman was injured Sunday afternoon in a car accident in Norton County.

Maria G. Munoz-Garcia, 71, was rounding a curve on Highway 383 when she ran off the road and struck a guardrail on the right side of the road in her Chevrolet HHR, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Munoz-Garcia then overcorrected and veered left back onto the road, crossing both traffic lanes before leaving the roadway and striking the other guardrail head on.

The KPH report indicated that Munoz-Garcia was disabled during the accident. She was transported to Norton County Hospital, where her condition was not available.
