Lincoln, NE : 19-year-old injured when car slides into pole near 33 Avenue and U Street on Sunday, January 15th 2017

A car slid into a pole near 33rd Avenue and U Street about 9:30 p.m., injuring the 19-year-old driver.

Paramedics initially considered him in critical condition en route to the Nebraska Medical Center, but police said the man's injuries ended up being minor.
