Stearns County, MN : Two people injured in a rear-end collision on Interstate 94 near Sauk Centre on Saturday, April 9, 2016

Two people were injured at about 11 p.m. Saturday in a rear-end collision on Interstate Highway 94 near Sauk Centre, according to a State Patrol report.

The report said a Nissan Murano driven by Dekontee Glenn, 31, Golden Valley, was eastbound on I-94 when she slowed down to attend to a child in the back seat. Her vehicle was then rear ended by a Ford Focus driven by Joshua Applin, 27, of Edmonton, Alberta, the report said.

The collision caused the Ford to swerve and roll into the left median and the Nissan to roll into the right ditch.

Glenn and her son, Delvin Glenn of Golden Valley, were taken to CentraCare Health – Sauk Centre with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, the report said.
