Fargo,ND : Fargo officer involved in two-vehicle crash on December, Wednesday 6th 2017

An 18-year-old Fargo woman hit a squad car Wednesday, Dec. 6, after failing to yield on icy roads.

Sgt Jim VanLith with the Fargo Police Department said the Jessica Olson was northbound on 4th Street when at 4:48 p.m. she attempted turning left on 9th Avenue North.


The driver failed to yield for a southbound squad car driven by Officer Tyler Seehusen on 4th Street. She was taken to the hospital for injuries that were not life threatening, VanLith said.

Olson's vehicle was heavily damaged, VanLith said, and the squad car had minor damage.

There were no citations written for the crash.
