he 5-year-old girl left critically injured following a Feb. 4 vehicle crash involving former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid has awakened from an 11-day coma, her family confirmed Monday in an online post.

“Ariel is awake,” the family posted on the GoFundMe page established to assist with the girl’s medical expenses, KMBC reported.
