La Crosse, WI : Man suffers critical injuries in a one-vehicle crash in Trempealeau County on Thursday night, August 25, 2016

A man was critically injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday night in Trempealeau County.

Michael Bagniewski, 28, from rural Arcadia, was southbound on Hwy. G about six miles south of Arcadia shortly before midnight when he lost control of his vehicle and it left the roadway and rolled, according to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office.

Bagniewski was transported to a La Crosse hospital by helicopter with life-threatening injuries, the Office said.

Alcohol was believed to have played a role in the crash, the office said.
