Memphis, TN : Two year old critically injured by hit and run driver on Friday, October 10, 2014

A hit-and-run driver struck a 2-year-old in North Memphis. The child was sent to Le Bonheur Children's hospital in non-critical condition. Police say the driver fled in a silver or grey Chevy impala, which was later found unoccupied in front of a home one block away from the incident. Neighbors in the area say not a day goes by that they don't see children running across the street unsupervised. "They be running back and forth across the street all day long, that's how one of them got hit," said Betty Smith. "They be running back and forth every day, all day."
