Three people were transported to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash at a toll plaza on Interstate 75, Tuesday evening.
The crash occurred on the westbound lanes of Interstate 75 at mile marker 25, just after 9 p.m.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Fire Rescue, 10 people were involved in the three-vehicle crash. One driver in a silver SUV wound up smashing into the back of a white vehicle. As a result, the white vehicle spun out and struck a minivan. "I was sitting in the car with my little brother watching a movie on her tablet, and all of a sudden the car came crashing," said Italivy Arguelles.
Arguelles was in the minivan with her family of seven on their way to Dallas when the white vehicle struck them. "It really hurt," she said.
Despite the crash, no one in the minivan was hurt.
Two victims were transported to the Broward Health Medical Center, one was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
Crews had to extricate two men from their vehicle.
The conditions of the victims are unknown.
