HAMPTON, NJ : injured in 3 car accident on Route 31 in Hunterdon on Wednesday, 24th August, 2016

Three vehicles collided on Route 31 just north of Lacakawanna Avenue on Wednesday.

The accident happened at approximately 5:30 p.m. Two people were reportedly injured.

Hampton Rescue Squad transported one to St Luke's Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg in Warren County. A second person was taken by the Clinton Rescue Squad to Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township.

Route 31 was reduced to one lane, with traffic alternating for north and south bound traffic in the northbound lane during the cleanup.

Responding to the call were State Police Troopers from the Washington barracks, the Hampton Rescue Squad, Clinton Rescue Squad, Hampton Fire Department and Glen Gardner Fire Department.
