PHOENIX, AZ : DPS trooper hospitalized after crash on I-10 in Phoenix on Monday, 29th January 2024

An Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper is in the hospital after a crash on a Phoenix freeway on Monday evening.

Details on the crash are limited, but DPS says the trooper was involved in a collision with a commercial vehicle on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 near 19th Avenue. The trooper was taken to the hospital. Their injuries are unknown. The two right lanes were blocked as DPS investigated the crash. It has since reopened.
