Richmond, KY : One person is dead and several were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 75 on Sunday, October, 22nd 2017

One person is dead and several were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 75 Sunday morning involving a semi-truck carrying plywood.

Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison said the driver of the semi-truck involved in the accident died of a massive heart-attack.

Billy Ray Berry, 54, of Tennessee, was dead before his truck made contact with the concrete divider just past exit 90, Cornelison said.

Several people were taken to area hospitals, where they were treated for minor injuries. Berry was pronounced dead at the hospital.
