The motorcyclists were riding eastbound at about 3 p.m. at the Brian O Drive intersection when they ran into the rear of a car stopped to make a left turn, according to a statement by the Michigan State Police.

The car, driven by a 45-year-old man from Cement City, was halted and waiting for oncoming traffic to pass.
