ADAIR COUNTY, IA : 4 killed, 35 injured in Greenfield tornado on Tuesday, 21st May 2024

On Wednesday the Iowa State Patrol confirmed that four people were killed and at least 35 were injured as a result of a strong tornado that hit Greenfield Tuesday evening.

At around 4 p.m. on Tuesday the small town of Greenfield was directly hit by an at least EF 3 tornado that flattened homes and buildings.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, four individuals were killed in the tornado. The victims’ names and ages are not being released at this time.
