Rochester, N.H : Milton man hurt after car crashes into tree on Friday afternoon, November 11, 2016

A Milton man was injured Friday afternoon after the vehicle he was driving went off the road and struck a tree, according to police.

At approximately 3:10 p.m., Rochester police, fire and Frisbie EMS personnel responded to Pickering Road in Gonic for the report of a motor vehicle crash with possible injury, according to a statement released by the Rochester Police Department.

Upon arrive, emergency personnel located a black Honda Civic with heavy front-end damage in a ditch next to a tree. The driver, David Cormier, 23, of Milton, was out of the vehicle with visible non-life threatening injuries.

Upon initial investigation, police determined that the vehicle was traveling north on Pickering Road, in the area of some ‘s-curves’ when the car went off the shoulder, struck a tree and ended up in the ditch.

Cormier was transported Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
