Fairbanks ,AK : 22-year-old Caitlan Donnelly injured after being hit by car Tuesday, July 14th 2015
A bicyclist was injured Tuesday afternoon after being hit by a car in Fairbanks, Alaska State Troopers wrote in a dispatch.
Troopers received reports of the collision around 2:05 p.m. Tuesday. Investigations revealed that 70-year-old Sara Williams of Fairbanks was driving westbound on College Road in a Toyota Tacoma.
Troopers say that 22-year-old Caitlan Donnelly of Fairbanks was "was in the cross walk on College Road, crossing the road from the east side of the intersection."
Williams collided with Donnelly in the intersection, who suffered from injuries to her lower body, troopers say.
Donnelly was transported to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for treatment. Investigations are ongoing.
