Southington, CT : No injuries after minor accident involving school bus in Southington on Tuesday morning, September 27, 2016

There were no injuries after a minor accident involving a school bus on Mount Vernon Road this morning.

Police said the accident happened around 7:45 a.m. when a school bus turning left from Acre Way onto Mount Vernon Road struck the side mirror of another vehicle. Battalion Chief Alan Zygmunt said the children were elementary school age. Police said the incident was investigated and the children were able to be taken to school.
