Coventry, R.I : 39-year-old Keith Denton killed after car fell on him in Kent County on Saturday, January 30, 2016

Police have identified a Rhode Island man who died after a vehicle he was working on fell on him.

Coventry police responded to a call around 5 p.m. Saturday about a man trapped underneath a vehicle.

Emergency responders arrived at the Washington Street residence and freed 39-year-old Keith Denton of Coventry.

Denton was taken to Kent County Hospital. Police said he died a short time later from his injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
