Gainesville, FL : Bronson man killed in motorcycle accident on Wednesday, March 15th 2017
A 52-year-old Bronson man died following a motorcycle crash on North U.S. 19 in Levy County on Wednesday.
Steven P. Miller was killed in the accident, which occurred around 11 a.m. in the 2600 block of North U.S. 19, according to a Florida Highway Patrol media release.
Witnesses told the FHP that the driver of the 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was looking down to his right at some part of the bike when he drifted off the road onto the east shoulder. Miller lost control of the motorcycle. It flipped over, throwing him off.
Troopers said Miller was not wearing a helmet.
He was taken to UF Health Shands Hospital, where he died, according to the FHP.
