Brevard county FL : One cyclist was killed in Wednesday in a collsion with pickup truck on May 7th 2014.

A 55-year-old cyclist was killed Wednesday in a collision with a pickup truck along U.S. 1 in South Brevard.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, David Ohaver of Sebastian was riding south on a path adjacent to U.S. 1 when a 2013 Dodge pickup driven by Kevin Paukner, 57 of Vero Beach, veered off the highway and hit Ohaver near Valkaria Road.

The FHP report said the Dodge continued past the scene of the incident, eventually coming to rest in a ditch near First Street.
