Billings, MT : Student injured in wreck with school bus near Skyview High on Wednesday afternoon, October 5, 2016

A student's injuries were not life threatening after a wreck between a car and a school bus near Skyview High on Wednesday afternoon.

The injured student was driving a vehicle that was involved in a collision with a school bus transporting students from the Career Center, said School District 2 superintendent Terry Bouck.

The wreck occurred about 3 p.m., Bouck said. The bus driver was checked for minor injuries.

Billings Police responded to the wreck, said Lt. Neil Lawrence, but he didn't have any additional information.

SD2 contracts with First Student to provide busing for students.
