Auburn, IN : Semi combusts in wreck on Thursday, 26th April 2018

A semi trailer split in half after the tractor’s brakes caught fire near the Angola exit of the Indiana Toll Road Thursday around 8 p.m. The driver, Tyson Dashaun, who was hauling a trailer registered to ConAgra Foods, was not injured, said Indiana State Police Public Information Officer Ted Bohner. The fire spread from the tractor to the trailer causing a conflagration that sent sooty debris flying through the air. Traffic exiting the toll road to Interstate 69 was completely stopped for about an hour. Cleanup was completed at 1:26 a.m. Friday.
