Joplin, MO : Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Missouri Highway 265 on Friday, 18th May 2018
Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision at 3:12 p.m. FrMiday on Missouri Highway 265, a half-mile east of Marionville in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
One of the drivers involved, Barbara D. Abney, 73, of Aurora, and her passenger, William E. Proctor, 80, of Columbus, Georgia, were taken by ambulance to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield with moderate injuries.
Their eastbound vehicle collided with a southbound vehicle driven by Timothy A. Villani, 60, of Aurora, when Villani pulled into their path, the patrol said.
• A Webb City woman sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 4:27 a.m. Friday on Missouri Highway 43, about 4 miles north of Seneca in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Elizabeth M. Wilson, 49, was taken to Mercy Hospital Joplin.
Wilson was driving a northbound car that ran off the road and struck an embankment, the patrol said.
