Lasvegas, NV : Bicyclist struck, killed near Fashion Show mall on Thursday, 22nd September 2016

A 49-year-old bicyclist was struck and killed by a cab late Thursday near Fashion Show mall, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Troopers were called about 11:45 p.m. to Spring Mountain Road near Mel Torme Way. The man, Vincent Foster, was riding his across Spring Mountain Road on a crosswalk but disregarded a no-walk signal and was struck by a Deluxe Taxicab Service cab, the Highway Patrol said.

Foster was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition and died Friday. The cab driver, who did not have a passenger with him, wasn't cited.
