LEAGUE CITY, TX : 20-year-old woman killed after being hit by vehicle in League City on Thursday, 28th December 2023

A 20-year-old woman died after being hit by a vehicle in League City Thursday, authorities said.

The League City Police Department said it happened in the 200 block of S. Egret Bay Blvd.

Around 7:46 p.m., officers received multiple calls of the woman being hit. They, along with League City Fire Department crews, arrived to find a woman on the east side of the roadway.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the driver of the vehicle involved stayed at the scene and has been fully cooperative with officers.

The LCPD Crash Team is currently conducting a thorough investigation of the collision. Anyone who might have witnessed this incident or that might have further information are encouraged to contact the League City Police Department at 281-332-2566.
