A 24-year-old Gloucester motorcyclist died following a crash Tuesday along Interstate 95.
The victim was identiied as Jeremy Anderson of 12 Adams Place. State police say a passing motorist flagged down a trooper working a construction detail on I-95 to report a crash involving
State police say a passing motorist flagged down a trooper working a construction detail on I-95 to report a crash involving a motorcycle on the southbound side of I-95 near exit 36 in Woburn.
Anderson was was transported to Lahey Hospital in Burlington where he succumbed to his injuries.
Troopers from the Danvers Barracks were dispatched to assist. Two lanes were closed for approximately 90 minutes to assist with the investigation.
The facts and circumstances of the crash are under investigation by troopers from the Danvers Barracks assisted by troopers assigned to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.
State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section (CARS), State Police Crime Scene Services Section (CSSS), Woburn Fire/EMS, and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation all assisted on scene.
