A motorcyclist was hospitalized Tuesday morning after a crash involving a minivan.
According to Henderson police, motorcyclist Codi M. Samples, 21, of Henderson, was westbound on U.S. 60 when his bike struck the side of a minivan driven by Whitney Majors of Henderson. Police say Majors was eastbound on U.S. 60 and was
turning left onto Barret Boulevard when the collision occurred.
Samples initially was taken to Methodist Hospital with what police describe as "possible life-threatening injuries," but was transferred to St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. Samples was wearing a helmet.
He is in critical but stable condition in the ICU.
A Kentucky State Police accident reconstruction expert is investigating the collision.
