Smiths Station, AL : Phenix City man dies in crash on Lee County 240 in Smiths Station on Friday, April 8, 2016

A Phenix City man died Friday in a wreck on Lee County 240 in Smiths Station, Alabama State Troopers reported.
Dakota Timothy Roberts, 24, was killed in the crash, which occurred at 2:05 p.m.
Troopers said the 2000 Ford Explorer Roberts was driving left the roadway and overturned. Roberts, who was not using a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead on the scene.
Troopers continue to investigate.
