NASHVILLE, TN : 1 facing charges after deadly crash in Nashville on Sunday, 7th July 2024

The Metro Nashville Police Department said charges are anticipated after a fatal crash on I-24 Sunday morning.

Police said 23-year-old Olivia Taylor was the passenger of a Nissan Altima that appeared to be racing another car when it overshot the exit ramp to Briley Parkway North and lost control.

The car eventually came to a rest on the other side of the ramp.

Police said Taylor, who was wearing her seatbelt, was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she later died.
