SEATTLE, WA : Police nab drive-by shooting suspect who crashed car, fled in S. Seattle on Tuesday, 16th August, 2016

Police have tracked down and detained a drive-by shooting suspect who fled on foot after crashing a car in the Rainier View area of Seattle, officials said.
Officers originally responded to 53rd Avenue South and Beacon Avenue South at about 12:35 p.m. Tuesday after the suspect crashed and ran from the scene.
A perimeter was set up and police began systematically combing the area for the suspect with the help of a K-9 police dog and helicopter.
After an hour-long search a suspect was detained about a mile away in the 6400 block of S. 120th Street. Police say they believe the suspect is the same person who fired shots earlier near Beacon Hill.
