A Clarence woman had moderate injuries after her car struck farm equipment being towed by a tractor on Tuesday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Misty D. Peart, 39, of Clarence, was driving west on U.S. 36 about one mile west of Lentner at 5:10 p.m. when the 2007 Ford Edge she was driving struck a farm implement being pulled by Richard G. Chinn, 54, of Clarence. Chinn was on a 1992 John Deer 4960 tractor and had no injuries.
Peart was transported by Air Evac to University Hospital in Columbia. She was not wearing a safety device, police said.
