LAFAYETTE, IN : Driver arrested after crashing near West Point on Saturday, 25th April, 2020
Tippecanoe County deputies arrested Brittany Nicole Pattengale after she wrecked her car Saturday night on Indiana 25 at a curve in the road south of West Point, according to the sheriff's office.
Pattengale, 25, lost control of her northbound car about 10:20 p.m. Saturday after it went left of center and drove off the west side of the road just south of Tippecanoe County Road 750 South, according to the sheriff's office.
Pattengale's passenger suffered a broken arm, and Pattengale suffered injuries to her lower legs.
Deputies jailed Pattengale, of the 1800 block of Shoshone Drive in Lafayette, early Sunday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated causing endangerment, according to jail records.
She was released from the Tippecanoe County Jail Sunday afternoon after posting bond, according to jail records.
