Whitehall,OH : Whitehall man killed in I-270 crash on Far West Side on March, Tuesday 27th 2018

A Whitehall man was killed early Tuesday when the car he was driving traveled off Interstate 270 and crashed into a wire barrier on the Far West Side.

Thomas Huddleston, 49, of the 4000 block of Beechcreek Road in Whitehall, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Columbus police were called to the northbound lanes of I-270, just north of Georgesville Road, shortly after 2 a.m., where officers found the car in the grass median, police said.

Investigators determined that the car had flipped several times and had struck a wire retention barrier, police said.

His death is the city’s 18th traffic fatality so far this year.
