Rindge, NH: One killed and one minorly injured in a deadly crash near the intersection of Converseville Road on Thursday Night, 6th November 2014The crash happened on Route 119 near the intersection of Converseville Road shortly before 7 p.m. State police said a Buick Riviera driven by David Hoffman, 54, of Ashburnham, Massachusetts, was traveling west when it crossed the center line and struck a Volvo V70 wagon driven by Joseph Hautanen, 25, of Jaffrey. Authorities said they determined that Hoffman was impaired from alcohol at the time crash. He was arrested at the hospital and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. Police said Hautanen was pronounced dead at the scene, and his passenger Alyssa Collins, 25, was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released for minor injuries.
