Joplin, MO : Oklahoma woman hurt in accident in Newton County on Tuesday, February 7, 2017
An Oklahoma woman suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday on Coyote Drive, a mile south of Joplin in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Bernardine K. Baxter, 45, of Grove, Oklahoma, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West.
She was driving a northbound car that was struck in the rear by a car driven by Christina M. Williams, 39, of Neosho, the patrol said.
A Pineville man suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 9:15 p.m. Monday on Bear Hollow Road at Quarry Lane in McDonald County, the state patrol said.
Charles J. Hamill, 39, was taken by ambulance to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Hamill was driving a westbound pickup truck that ran into a ditch while attempting to negotiate a turn, the patrol said.
A Monett woman suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 2:11 a.m. Tuesday on County Road 1090, 3 miles north of Monett in Lawrence County, the state patrol said.
Shelby L. Bennett, 20, was taken to Cox Monett Hospital.
She was driving a southbound car that ran off the road and overturned when she swerved to avoid a deer, the patrol said.
