A crash involving a motorcycle and a car Sunday afternoon on Route 30 sent a Massachusetts woman to the hospital with serious injuries, according to the Vermont State Police.
Pamela Tremper-Debona, 71, of Dorset, was driving north on Route 30 in a Honda Fit while Becky S. Dix, 44, of Clarksburg, Mass., was driving south on a 1992 Yamaha motorcycle around 2 p.m. Sunday.
Tremper-Debona tried to turn left into a driveway and failed to yield right of way to Dix, police said. The motorcycle struck the front of the car, causing Dix to go off the road.
Dix was taken by helicopter to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center Hospital in Lebanon, N.H., for treatment of her injuries which police said involved her extremities. Tremper-Debona did not report any injuries.
Police said further investigation of the crash is pending.
