A St. Robert man was killed and two other St. Robert residents seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash in Miller County Sunday afternoon.
Jonathan Moore, 21, was the driver of a Ford Fusion that overturned several times on Highway 17 about one mile south of Route C around 1:50 p.m. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene at 2 p.m. July 10.
Two passengers - Christopher A. Kenon, 22, and Carla N. Franco Collzao, 19 - were thrown from the car and seriously injured. Collzao was flown by helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. Kenon was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Hospital in Jefferson City.
A third passenger - Sun Hea Song, 21, also of St. Robert received minor injuries. She was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Hospital for treatment as well.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the car was southbound on Highway 17 when it went off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned several times.
The crash report indicated that Moore, Kenon and Collzao were not wearing seatbelt while Song was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash was Highway Patrol Troop F’s second fatality for July and its 35th for 2016.
